Belterra Fireworks

Yes, I know I’m a couple of days late with a 4th of July fireworks shot but remember that I’ve been building a shed and getting ready for a class I’m teaching today so I’ve not had a lot of Photoshop time to play with Thursday night’s pictures yet. Here’s the first result, though.

Although we live in a pretty rural area, we are within sight of a large subdivision that had a rather nice fireworks display this year. It was one of those events where you show up and know a large percentage of the people there so it was fun.

As is usual, I took a camera and tripod along and shot some pictures. The fireworks were good but I took the liberty of making them look a bit better in this shot which is comprised of 7 blended frames. Who wants to see a single firework when you can use Photoshop to go all “1812 Overture” instead?
