A month or so ago, I took a trip down to Texas State University to see the 24th Texas Photographic Society International Exhibition which was hanging in the Wittliff Collections gallery there. It’s been a while since I visited Texas State and it’s grown enormously since I last walked around the campus. Here’s a large arch on one of the main buildings with the school motto inscribed over it. My basic Latin and some Googling suggest that this means “Authority, Gravity, Humanity, Truth”.
