Science Centre Tower

I broke out Photoshop over the weekend and had some fun playing with this image of the rotating tower at Glasgow Science Centre. I had been wondering how tricky it would be to produce one of those currently-popular, black-sky architecture images so here’s my attempt.

For reference, this is what the original frame looked like straight out of the camera.

The tower at Glasgow Science Centre.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/8
  • Camera: E-M1MarkII
  • Focal length: 20mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/180s
