Bay of Fundy

Since it’s the anniversary of this trip, let’s stay in Canada today with another image from last September’s NxNW expedition to Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Here’s an image showing low tide on the beach at Burntcoat Point Park, Nova Scotia, Canada. This location on the Bay of Fundy boasts the highest tidal range in the world with a 46 to 53 foot difference between sea level at low and high tide.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/8
  • Camera: E-M1MarkII
  • Exposure bias: -5/10EV
  • Focal length: 9mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1s
