Cadillac Ranch, Amarillo, TX

I still have a few more unposted pictures from Amarillo’s Cadillac Ranch so here’s another which shows just how much paint has accumulated on the cars since they were first planted back in 1974. Many of the car’s structures have taken on an almost organic feel due to the way the paint has softened the hard edges and flowed downwards into colorful stalactites. It’s quite fascinating.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/9
  • Camera: E-M1MarkII
  • Focal length: 47mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/80s
