Let me interrupt my series of Cotton Bowl pictures with an image of another marching band. I’m up in Lawrence, Kansas this weekend to visit my elder son (on the left in this shot) and photograph the University of Kansas Marching Jayhawks. Yesterday’s football game ended with a (frankly not unexpected) 41-14 victory for Texas Tech against Kansas but the band did a fabulous job in glorious weather and I, for one, had a great time.
