I warned that there would likely be a burst of robotics photos this week so here we go. Rather than showing robots, however, I’ve picked a collection of my favourite portraits taken during last weekend’s FIRST in Texas District Event at Dripping Springs High School. The first is an image of fellow team 6357 mentor Mark Lohman who posed for this shot while in his guise as volunteer robot inspector. During events, the students are pretty much in charge of the team and most mentors take on volunteer roles. For this event, for example, I was the event photographer – a job I reckon I’m probably better at than software mentor 🙂
