A view of the Milky Way behind the adobe outhouse of The Leapin’ Lizard Guest House in Terlingua, Texas. I took this on the night of April 30th at 4:30am. The image contains 40 individual exposures, one for the foreground (a long exposure lit purely by the light of a battery-powered LED bulb on a patio 30 feet away) and the remainder 30 second exposures of the sky which I processed using Starry Landscape Stacker which handles the rotation of the sky images over time and merges them into a single, cleaner image.
