Some of the setups we covered during Sunday’s workshop with Joe McNally didn’t involve the dancers expending too much energy. In this case, Joe set up a simple glamour headshot for Kirstyn. The setup here was pretty simple with a four foot shoot-through umbrella about 12 inches from her face camera left, a single, bare flash with a blue gel 5 or 6 feet behind her to provide some coloured rim light, and a horizontal, silver reflector right in front at chest height.
