Goblin Valley IR

An infra-red view taken in Goblin Valley State Park, Utah during last November’s NxNW trip to the area. We enjoyed Goblin Valley so much that we visited it twice, once for sunset and the next morning for sunrise. This picture was one of the last I took during our sunrise visit when the light was beginning to get a bit too harsh for visible-light images (or, at least, too harsh for the type of visible light images I was looking for that day).

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/5.6
  • Camera: E-M5MarkII
  • Exposure bias: -5/10EV
  • Focal length: 15mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/350s
