I’ll take a break from travel pictures for a few days to post some frames from yesterday’s fun at Q2 Stadium where I spent the afternoon and evening photographing the Premier Rugby Sevens tournament with a group from Precision Camera. I’ve not watched rugby in years so it was great to remember what a fantastic spectator sport it is. I think I enjoyed watching the games every bit as much as trying to photograph them!
The tournament was made up of 8 teams, 4 men’s and 4 women’s, and comprised 8 matches, each of 14 minutes total, 7 minutes each half. Games are fast-paced, scoring is frequent, and the action seldom stops.
