Tower Bridge, London

I’m heading back to our recent trip today but moving from Croatia back to the UK and the city of London which we visited for a day just prior to returning to Austin. Most of the day was spent enjoying the recently-redeveloped South Bank area between Waterloo and Tower Bridge and here’s a picture of the iconic bridge at the end of that route.

It’s always fun to see if you can find a different angle on a well-known subject and there are few London subjects better known than Tower Bridge. Here’s my take (though I should come clean and admit to taking the standard postcard shots too).

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/9.5
  • Camera: OM-1
  • Focal length: 35mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/250s
