Austin Sunset Reflections

Yesterday’s photo was taken while flying from Butler Park on the south side of Lady Bird Lake after sunset. Prior to this, I tried a new launch location in the Duncan Neighborhood Park just north-west of downtown and this is one of the images I shot from there.

The Independent can be seen on the right with the 360 Condominium building catching the sun and the Austonian framing the left of the picture. The Google Sail and 2nd Street’s “butterfly bridge” are visible in the centre.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/2.8
  • Camera: FC3411
  • Exposure bias: -1.3EV
  • Focal length: 8.38mm
  • ISO: 100
  • Shutter speed: 1/800s
