Inside Union Station

I posted an exterior image of Union Station decked out in its Kansas City Chiefs celebration lighting a couple of days ago but here’s a shot of part of the building’s interior. The main hall was cluttered with equipment and lighting for the Chiefs’ event but this section was totally empty.

The building opened in 1914 but has left its railway roots behind and is, today, home to a collection of shops, restaurants, historical exhibits and event spaces.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/5.6
  • Camera: OM-1
  • Focal length: 12mm
  • ISO: 800
  • Shutter speed: 1/125s
