I spent the weekend at Bell County Expo Center in Belton, Texas for the FIRST in Texas District robotics competition where I was acting as impartial event photographer while quietly cheering for the Dripping Springs High School team (Team 6357, “The Spring Konstant”) which I help mentor. While our team didn’t make it to the final, we did win the Engineering Inspiration Award which was fantastic, especially given the reliability problems experienced by this year’s robot!
This image shows the members of the three teams making up the winning alliance at the event – Team 5414, “Pearadox”, from Pearland, Team 3802, “RoboPOP”, from Carrollton and Team 3743, “Eagle Bots”, from Salado.
