I had intended moving on from robotics competition images but our local team, 6357 “The Spring Konstant” attended the Texas State Championships in Houston last weekend and did extremely well, winning a state-wide Engineering Inspiration Award and getting to the semi-finals in the field competition before being knocked out. With this result, they have qualified for the FIRST World Championship, also in Houston, in 2 weeks time.
Here’s their 2023 competition robot, “Breaker”, named by the team because “we break ‘er then we fix ‘er.”
