Another of my favourite spots visited during both of our previous NxNW Utah expeditions is Moonscape Overlook (or Skyline View as it is sometimes known) which, as for all the locations we visited, is close to the town of Hanksville. The variety of different terrain visible from this clifftop is incredible – buttes in the distance, spires a bit closer then a vast area of plain crossed by large grey, smoothly eroded ripples.
