South Sawyer Glacier ends with a 1500 foot wall of blue ice slowly breaking up into the Tracy Arm Fjord in south eastern Alaska. The scale of the feature is remarkable. In this image, the zodiac is a quarter of a mile from the wall and the ice on the left side of the glacier’s face.
