Ross Chastain, SS Green Light Racing

The inaugural NASCAR weekend on May 22nd, 2021 at Circuit of the Americas was a pretty miserable affair, at least as far as the weather went. I arrived at 8am on Saturday morning, walked to the gate and was promptly sent back to the car since my umbrella was supposedly illegal. I spent the next three hours trudging around in torrential rain and finally gave up at 11am, soaked to the skin with my boots completely full of water.

Overall, my pictures from the morning were pretty uninspiring but here’s one of Ross Chastain who took over from Joe Graf Jr. that weekend in the SS Green Light Racing Chevrolet.
