Delta IV Heavy NROL-70

Yesterday was going to be an exciting day after my son managed to get tickets to watch the final launch of a ULA Delta IV Heavy rocket from the closest viewing location on Titan Causeway, 1.5 miles from the pad. The view was fabulous but, unfortunately, the launch was scrubbed due to a pneumatics issue just moments before lift-off. It’s been rescheduled to next Monday which is after we leave so we’ll miss out on the fireworks after all.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/4.5
  • Camera: OM-1
  • Focal length: 300mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/2000s
