The Blanton Museum of Art has some wonderful, lit barriers outside it which offer interesting composition potential during the blue hour. We ended up here during last Friday’s photo walk and I couldn’t pass up the chance to shoot some images of the building with the “light spot” wall in the foreground. I suspect another visit is in order since I’m not 100% happy with the results. Take a look at this version by photo buddy Andy “atmtx” which gives a rather better idea of the setup.
Love the perspective Dave! The reddish roof against the blue evening sky is a great contrast.
I adore the blue hour. This is a terrific shot! Love the receding matrix of squares.
