I mentioned earlier that I loved the reflections in the UT Longhorn Band tubas. Here’s the closest shot I took. It turned out that it’s a self portrait (it’s difficult to get out of the reflection when you are anywhere near one of these).

I’m still having a hard time figuring out how the reflection here is actually the right way around. I’m pretty sure I didn’t flip the image so how come the writing in the reflection is not mirrored? The only thing I can think of is that the reflection in the main part of the bell is a double-reflection from some other part of the instrument. Anyone got any ideas?
