For the first time in ages, I missed a posting yesterday! Sorry about that – I just ran out of time over the weekend and, given that we were away all day yesterday, didn’t manage to get anything ready to post until late last night at which point it seemed best just to cut my losses and leave a gap in the record. Oh well….
Today’s shot was taken yesterday during our family trip to the Texas Renaissance Festival which proved a lot of fun especially for the kids who spent their entire life savings on assorted wooden and metal weapons. No doubt we are in for some fun (and medical bills) in the upcoming weeks.
This particular portrait shows Billy Billy VonBilly, one of the members of the Sturdy Beggars, a comic crew who are in charge of “The Mud Show“. It’s difficult to describe this but suffice it to say that it’s a hilarious performance involving a great deal of audience participation and slightly off-colour humour.
Missed ya yesterday Dave, but family first! I love this post, in particular the names and descriptions of the event, the Sturdy Beggars! Gotta love it. Great pic of Billy too!
What a great shoot, great focus on the eyes and yickes that is a lot of mud everywhere.. I feel like I want to take another shower right now 😉
