Tunnel View in Yosemite offers one of the best-known scenes in the park with El Capitan on the left (centre here) and Bridalveil Falls on the right.
In an attempt to do something a bit different, this image is an infra-red shot taken late in the afternoon when the light there is typically best.

Thats a really interesting take on the classic view. Did you do this in camera or in post?
This was shot with my IR-converted D5000 so there’s always a lot of post-processing required to get the colours to look like this. The original exposures are predominantly red/orange so you need to do a white balance fix in CaptureNX then export as TIFF to Photoshop where you swap the red and blue channel contents. These steps fall into the turn-the-handle category since you need to do them for every exposure. After this, though, you can do whatever else you want with curves or whatever. In this case, I don’t remember doing anything dramatic, though – a contrast boost and pretty much nothing else as far as I can remember.
