This fearsome guy (Alligator Mississippiensis) lives at the Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christi. While most of the alligator enclosure is fenced, a section by the area where the gator basks is separated from the crowd by a large, plexiglass panel and it was fun to watch kids pressing their noses up against this for a closer view then squealing and jumping back when the alligator turned towards them.
