The Portland Japanese Garden is a wonderful place – peaceful, beautifully tended and filled with a wonderful variety of plants and landscaping just begging to be photographed. I spent some time hanging around taking pictures of this little waterfall. Most of the hanging around was spent waiting for the wind to die down since I was using long shutter speeds to blur the water and wanted to minimise the blurring of the trees’ leaves during each exposure.
Right on Dave! I’m loving reliving our nXnw trip through your images. Great stuff!

I guess there is an upside to being the one who took longest to start publishing the photos! There will be more next week.
Love this photo. Awww, this makes me want to go back. I loved how so much of the foliage glistened with the morning dew when I went. One of the best Japanese gardens I’ve experienced.
