An Eastern Phoebe (Sayornis phoebe) seen at Lake Negley/Soil Conservation Site 1 Reservoir in Kyle, Texas on January 1st, 2021. This was one of the many species of small brown bird we saw and which I had to identify after the fact using the excellent eBird web site and Merlin app from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
