Being unfamiliar with the area, I’d usually stop by the bar to seek out locals who could steer me towards a good location. We bonded over a few drinks, his preference being red wine as I recall. In turn he led me to a couple spots where I was able to make some photographs that still live in my portfolio today. I have a picture of the two of us from that day but can’t get it to load in the comments box. Interesting fellow for sure.
