This is the last photo in this series taken at Pride of Dripping Springs on Saturday, June 26th, 2021 and I think it sums the event up quite nicely. In the end, 1300 people attended, about 50% LGBTQ and 50% supporters and allies as far as I could tell. Regardless of which group folks fell into, everyone was just being there, together, having fun and enjoying life.
I feel pretty strongly that this world would be a better place if more people came to the conclusion that we should celebrate our differences and learn from each other rather than getting more and more entrenched in socially, religiously, politically, geographically and sexually heterogeneous bubbles.
