White Cone, Goblin Valley State Park

An abstract, aerial image taken at Goblin Valley State Park near Hanksville, Utah. The white circular object just left of centre is actually a conical structure that sits in the middle of one of the hoodoo fields in the park. You can see this from a less-vertical angle near the centre of yesterday’s image.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/2.8
  • Camera: FC3411
  • Focal length: 8.38mm
  • ISO: 800
  • Shutter speed: 1/80s
