I had a chance to do some drone flying in downtown Austin last Friday so will be posting a few aerial shots of the latest skyline this week. Here’s the view looking eastwards along 3rd street from a vantage point several hundred feet above the ground in the vicinity of the Seaholm development. The building on the left is The Independent, currently Austin’s tallest building. In the center, we see the previous record holder, The Austonian, and on the right is the latest skyscraper to grace the downtown skyline, Google’s new “sail” building.
