We visited Capitol Reef during our November NxNW trip and it proved to be one of the highlights. I didn’t know anything at all about the park before the trip but, as with all national parks, the views were spectacular both from the road and from the couple of hiking trails we walked while there.
Grand Wash is an easy trail along the floor of a narrow canyon offering views of towering rock walls and fascinating erosion patterns.
