The Chi Omega Fountain at the end of Jayhawk Boulevard in the University of Kansas was dedicated in April 1955 as an alumni memorial. The fountain was originally authorized in October 1952 on the 50th anniversary of the founding of the local Chi Omega sorority chapter.
This photo is also a testament to the OM-1’s image stabilization and computational photography capabilities. It’s a 1 second, handheld exposure using the camera’s Live ND feature to allow me to blur the water.
