Yesterday’s cool wildlife sighting was a huge pod of 50 to 100 (my estimate) Pacific White-Sided Dolphins (Lagenorhynchus obliquidens) which followed the ship for 20 minutes or so as we sailed through Discovery Passage, a narrow seaway on the east side of Vancouver Island north of Campbell River.
