It’s been a pleasure getting to know Paula Boothman, Longhorn Band Drum Major for the 2022 and 2023 seasons. Her energy when she leads the band is fabulous and her almost-omnipresent smile really lifts everyone’s spirits. We see her here leading the band through the French Quarter of New Orleans in the Sugar Bowl parade on December 31st, 2023.
Last Monday’s Sugar Bowl game was, unfortunately, Paula’s last as LHB Drum Major but I’m sure she’ll go on to do something wonderful after graduating and I look forward to seeing her back at the University of Texas during future Alumni Band weekends. All the best, Paula!
