Falcon 9 Booster

This SpaceX Falcon 9 first stage can be found on display inside one of the exhibits at Kennedy Space Center. The rocket previously flew and was recovered before moving to spend its retirement in the visitor center. SpaceX is currently launching and landing Falcon 9s about twice a week from KSC. We saw a launch on Saturday night and are expecting another one this evening and possibly even two more next Saturday.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/4
  • Camera: OM-1
  • Focal length: 23mm
  • ISO: 1000
  • Shutter speed: 1/8s
