Whaling Station, Grytviken

I was sorting photos to upload to Alamy this weekend and came back to the images from Grytviken, South Georgia and its abandoned whaling station. This one shows one of three rusting whalers beached at the site along with various tanks and processing equipment in the background.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/8
  • Camera: OM-1
  • Focal length: 100mm
  • ISO: 640
  • Shutter speed: 1/180s
