As a photographer of marching bands, I have to admit to being biased very much in favour of the tuba section. The creative opportunities generated by large areas of circular, reflective brass are fabulous. Here’s a shot from last Saturday’s game against Kentucky which I staged (sorry – this wasn’t entirely spontaneous) to improve on a similar image I grabbed during a previous game this season.
