Midtown Manhattan by Night

You can find this view of the Empire State Building and midtown Manhattan from the rooftop bar of the Pod 39 Hotel on 39th Street at Lexington Avenue. The hotel is fabulously situated and, as long as you don’t mind small rooms (I think the word is “bijoux”), it’s a fabulous place to stay if you are making a trip to Manhattan. I would recommend it for the rooftop bar alone but the staff are also great and you are only 3 blocks from Grand Central Terminal. What more could you ask for?
