This image of the dome of the United States Capitol building in Washington D.C. was taken around 1991 and is scanned from a Fujichrome transparency. Fujichrome 100 was my film of choice back in those days. Stick a polariser on the camera, underexpose by half a stop or so and you could get some amazing colour saturation.
