Capitol Dome

This is a rather dramatic tone mapping of an HDR I created in the State Capitol a couple of years ago. I’ve taken quite a few shots from this position and normally I try to process them to leave them looking “normal” (this version is my “poster child” for those who say that HDRs always look weird. It’s a 6 exposure HDR yet most people don’t realise this unless, of course, they are photographers who have tacked this scene themselves) but in this case I went for a rather more dramatic tone mapping and ended up with something I am very happy with.
