Checkerboard Mesa, Zion National Park

I won’t be shooting a lot of HDRs this week but here is one that I did do this morning at Checkerboard Mesa in Zion National Park. There is very little snow in the park just now but this was at one of the highest points and there seemed to be a couple of feet.

I typically avoid shooting straight into the sun but thought I would give it a try here. It seems to have worked out fine and I didn’t have significant exposure problems to deal with in capturing this scene. Perhaps I’ll do it again sometime?
