I had the pleasure of spending a morning shooting a local barrel racing competition with Don Schulte a couple of Saturdays ago and this is one of my picks from the event. Most of the shots I liked best were taken at high shutter speed but this one, taken at 1/90 second, caught my eye. It’s not sharp but I love the sense of motion and the expression on the rider’s face as she and the horse race towards the finish line.
