Yesterday was another bitterly cold day so Dave Nightingale, Rae Dollard and I decided that it would be a good idea to shoot an indoor location rather than downtown building exteriors. Knowing that the Texas Legislature is in session, we were rather worried that the Capitol would be busy but it turns out that the main, older part of the building isn’t used on Thursday and Friday and it was, in fact, rather quiet, Better than that, both the main floor and the galleries of both the House of Representatives and the Senate Chamber were open.
This is a fisheye shot of the House of Representatives chamber. I’ve not been in here for at least 6 months since it’s been closed for renovation. As far as I can tell, nothing major has changed but perhaps it’s a but cleaner than it was before.
If you look in the left corner of this image, you can see David who was shooting his set of brackets at the same time.

Dave, this image is incredible! Pretty much the only way to capture the entire room, and the processing is top notch. Well done brother
