Cup on Bench, Austin




This is an image generated during Dave Nightingale’s ”Creating Dramatic Images” workshop today. The image shows only a beaker of water on a metal park bench (a typical Dave Nightingale shot :-) ) but I loved the lines of the bench and the play of light through the cup.

The final image contains 1 retouch layer plus 6 curves layers to modify local contrast, add a slight vignette and tweak the colour. The original image is shown below for reference.
