This image was taken last Friday during our first shoot of Raul Touzon’s “Portable Sun” workshop in Austin. The class taught flash techniques for documentary photography and concentrated on mixing ambient light and flash. In this particular shot, most of the light is ambient iwth a pop from a diffused SB-600 providing a bit of extra light on Bobbie.
I’ll be posting a few more of my favourite images from the class over the next week or so.
Love how you can see her reflection in the inside of the cover. Makes me miss my piano from when I was growing up.
