Rail Car Textures

Here’s another, almost-abstract image taken of the end of one of the rail cars outside the Feed Station. The light angle was great and resulted in some fabulous shadows here. As you would expect, the original was very much rustier coloured than this version but I wanted to concentrate on shadow and texture so I processed the image to reduce the colour and concentrate on shape instead. Did it work?

I have walked by this rail car for 11 1/2 years and have never seen the beauty in it. Very nice. Can’t wait to see more pictures.
