We ended our recent Saturday evening photo walk at the Blanton Museum of Art where some fancy-schmancy event was just starting. The place was crawling with tuxedo-wearing guys and their elegantly dressed partners and the area around the main door of the museum had been transformed into an upmarket serving line.
One of the other decorations for the event were a collection of interesting “floating candle” style lights lining the stairs up to the building. These stairs are normally pretty interesting at night due to the fabulous lighted plinths on either side but, add the clear cylinders containing the floating lights and you get a scene just made for an abstract photo.
