Spyglass at Thirsty Planet

I don’t pretend to know a whole lot about the beer brewing process but I gather that this gizmo at Thirsty Planet Brewery is a spyglass in the pipe that cycles liquid from the bottom to the top of the mash tun in the first stage of the brewing process (maybe someone from the brewery can correct me if I’m wrong?). Regardless of what is it, it made an interesting detail shot with the light in the centre and the lovely shiny metal all around.

Hi Dave. Looks like something from a Borg ship. Erie but interesting. I like it!
