ABIA: Fisheye Terminal Interior

This is the last in the ABIA series (for now, at least) and shows another shot of the interior of the Barbara Jordan terminal as seen from the scissor lift.

Given that I reckoned there was very little chance of ever being up on a scissor lift inside the building again, I made sure that I shot using multiple different focal lengths from each position that we stopped at. This generally involved 3 or 4 compositions using the fisheye (like this one), the 14-24mm and the 24-70mm. I also used the 70-200 on a couple of occasions to really compress the perspective but, given how unstable the platform was, this was tricky.

Love the curvature of the building – not sure how much the fisheye is helping!

I like the fisheye curves on the verticals, Dave. Detail is great!

Thanks, gents. As you can probably tell, the terminal is a long, flat crescent and I rather liked the way this shape interacted with the distortion of the fisheye in this shot.
